I feel privileged to be one of the few people on earth to have been to this most spectacular place, a world wonder with many glaciers spilling into the valley, each a tourist destination if they could be driven to, with a huge lake chock-a-block with icebergs on top of sand dunes that look straight out of the Sahara desert. Some are from the airplane, the flight is worth any price even if you don’t land to go camping or backpacking. My husband Jeffery and I stayed here for several nights before being flown to Tebay Lakes. Below are some of the pictures, which don’t begin to capture this amazing place.
